GKS(Global Korea Scholarship) Program, 2014

That is supported by the government of the Republic of Korea, is implemented by the National Institute for International Education, which is an organization operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Education.

a. Monthly allowance : ₩ 500,000 (within ₩ 3,000,000)

b. Period of supporting scholarship : Mar. 2014 ~ Feb. 2015(withing 12 months)

c. Qualifications

- Should be under 4 years of grade. (Undergraduate – Sophomore, Junior, Senior) Both an applicant and his/her parents must possess the citizenship of the country of origin.

- Possess total grade point average (G.P.A.) above 80points and last semester grade point average (G.P.A) above 80points

- holds at least TOPIK Level 4 ( Test date : After 2011 )

- If you receive another scholarship(above monthly ₩300,000), you could not apply for this scholarship program.

d. Application

- Firstly apply for in website((www.studyinkorea.go.kr)

- Application for Online : 2014.1.28.(Tue.)-2014.2.17.(Mon.)

- Join the website -> application in online -> print out the application -> please submit the submission document (by 2014.2.24.(Mon.) 18:00)

e. Required documents

- 1 copy of application

- 1 legible Copy of Passport

- 1 copy of CERTIFICATE OF STUDENTSHIP

- 1 copy of transcript

- 1 copy of TOPIK transcript

- 1 copy of language transcript

- 1 copy of Self Introduction and Study Plan (Should be written by either Korean)

- 1 copy of recommendation letter (Please seal the letter with signature)
