The first East Asian symposium was held in 2018 in Okayama, Japan, and the second East Asian symposium will be held in this summer at Seoul National University. Prominent single-molecule scientists from South Korea, China, Singapore and Japan will share their recent scientific results and promote their friendship with fellow scientists.
The third meeting will be held in Chengdu, China in 2020 and the fourth meeting will be held in Singapore in 2021. The organizing committee expects that our symposium will develop into a central forum of the single-molecule biological sciences in this increasingly important area.
