Research Position Openings in Diabetes and Cardiovascular DiseasesLocation : Laval University, Quebec; &York University, Toronto; CanadaResearch Coordinator: Minimum requirements: Ph. D. Post-doctoral training in academic institutions or pharmaceutical industry may be required. The candidate should have a strong background in physiology and/or molecular aspects of metabolism, diabetes or cardiovascular diseases. The position involves coordinating translational research activities of an international consortium. A very good knowledge of English and demonstrated abilities for teamwork are required. Understanding and speaking French would be an advantage.Post-doctoral fellow (PDF): Highly motivated Ph. D. candidates that have experience in physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology and/or cell biology are encouraged to apply. Appointment to the PDF position is for 2 years with the possibility for extension.Doctoral student: Highly motivated M. Sc. candidates are encouraged to apply. Those appointed to the positions will join a dynamic research team including M. Sc. and PhD students as well as Post Docs fellows, and will experience a close collaboration with other research groups at Laval University, York University plus University of Utah, USA and Kuopio University in Finland.
